..now I have my shoe replaced. It fell off over the weekend and I was a bit lopsided but Gray came this evening and popped a new shoe back on. Now I don’t feel like I have one leg longer than the other anymore. Mind you, having legs a different length certainly works in the field I am in.

..where did that come from. It is an infringement of a pony’s personal liberty. we happily spent yesterday in the back field and got put back inthe front paddock today to find a great big fence running through the middle of it and two gates.

We can’t now run along the side of the arena and get all the working ponies excited and jumpy. Spoil sports!

..day today. I was brought in and groomed and plaited up and then Hamish tried riding me. He even Squeezed my sides. I bucked but he didn’t come off.

These people then stuck a teddy bear on my back and ran me around the school with the other horses.

Very strange.

..because my feet really hurt. A nice man came down and took my shoes off today which helped and gave me an injection that made me feel great but it is still a little bit sore. I also had George in my box next to me this afternoon and he looked after me really well. He groomed me all over, well as far as he could reach over the stable wall, and it felt really nice.

I’v ejust had a little feed and a good drink and I am now having a munch of hay. I’m not sure why but everytime I lie down to rest I get made to stand up. I think I’ll wait until dark and then try to lie down again and I bet I won’t be disturbed until the morning.

..this afternoon because I got to gallop up and around the fields with Charlotte on my back. I went soooo fast and there was no way anyone could stop me. Fantastic!

..we are just getting so sick of this little field.

Mind you we have a new horse with us. Chinook must have passed some test or something because she is now allowed to mix with us. Must have been a prettiness test because we are all so pretty..

..we will all miss you but especially me. I’m stuck here in this field with horses and sheep and only saw and heard you go from a distance. We had such fun together chasing each other around the front paddock, biting and rearing, what a laugh.

Hope you travel well and take care, hopefully we’ll see you back down here sometime soon.

..this is great fun there are more of us together tonight and we have loads of hills and can run around and play together.

Mind you Snoops is being a bit rude to all the new guys running around the field with us.

We are not sure what all the brown bits in our field are. It doesn’t really matter because the rain is washing it away.

..rugs on us anymore. Yippee. The rugs are lively in winter ‘cos they keep us so warm. But they get very hot and itchy at this time of year and so we love it when they come off. We can all now roll in the mud and really get all of our wintre coats out.

..is coming tomorrow and I’m worried it’s going to hurt. I’ve had sore teeth for a while and a man came today and checked my teeth out and booked an appointment to come back tomorrow. Apparently I have an infected tooth and gums and the tooth needs to come out. I also have a really sharp tooth that keeps hurting me when I bite and that is going to get ground down and made smooth. I’m sure that I’ll be better tomorrow.
